Isolation relief efforts

determined flower
ever hopeful

As the Coronavirus continues to spread and events and public gatherings are canceled with no known timeline to reopen, there is a lot of fear and anxiety brewing in our world.

For me, a natural introvert, life is much the same so far (if I can ignore the future and live in the present only). It is odd to hear people fuss about having to stay home. I love to stay home. I wish I could do it more often.  Of course, I mean that preferably under less catastrophic conditions.

In an effort to ease the stress of those who are feeling isolated or alone or afraid, the Missional Wisdom Foundation is offering a series of meditations and group spiritual direction, led by various members of our staff throughout the week. I myself, will be leading a live drawing meditation on the Missional Wisdom facebook page on Tuesdays for the next few weeks.

Also, in partial fulfillment of my Doctor of Ministry in Art & Theology, I will offering a webinar on Friday March 27 on the Hero’s Journey as a spiritual practice, featuring my new graphic novel and offering a contemplative reflection practice based on the hero’s journey story cycle.

I hope you will consider joining us for one or more of these reflections.

May you stay well and be at peace.
